Bringing back the annual JIY ski trip, affordability is a priority for us, thus we will guarantee an affordable price for one of our most popular events!
Azadar Nights
Our community is blessed with many talented reciters, we plan to take advantage of this, by holding youth-led Azadari Nights during Muharram.
Bonfires With Scholars
Engaging fireside discussions with scholars, fostering a cohesive environment for the youth, facilitating meaningful discussions in an informal setting.
Daku Nights
Dedicating two nights to different age groups will create a meaningful and inclusive experience for our youth!
Life Skill Courses
We recognize the importance of equipping our youth with essential life skills through a variety of practical learning opportunities.
Youth & Senior Cook Nights
Bringing the knowledge and experience of our elders to our youth. An interactive session where we all come together and make delicious food!
Hiking
An initiative to connect us with the outdoors, we are blessed to have many amazing hiking trails around JCC.
JIY Barbeque
Bringing back an amazing event in the summer to get outdoors and enjoy good food, weather, and company, while connecting with the youth of our community.
Career Fairs
A session that brings together the youth and professionals of our community., creating an engaging environment where youth can benefit from their expertise.

When is election day?
Voting will be open on 12th – 14th of Mahe Ramadaan 1445 (Saturday, March 23, 2024 – Monday, March 25, 2024) 1-6pm
Can I vote online?
Yes! Please see the how to vote video for more information.
How old do I have to be to vote?
The minimum age for voting is 12 years old (through a family membership). Youth ages 18-28 can also vote but require their own ISIJ membership.
How do I vote?
Please see this how to vote video. If you sign up for our newsletter, we can also provide an email reminder.
Is it required to be an ISIJ member?
Yes, you must be an ISIJ member between the age of 12 and 28 to vote in the JIY election this year.
Is Team Nanji taking associate applications?
If elected, associate applications will be available through the Jaffari website.
